John Jurenka, born in Chicago Illinois in 1929, passed away January 14, 2003. John was the beloved husband of Joan Jurenka; loving father of Jeff (Gaby), Jana (Chris) Emhardt and Jill Jurenka; grandfather of four. John grew up in Cicero Illinois, built a house in Lemont Illinois, served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict for two years, was a former employee of Illinois Bell, property owner and landlord activist in Santa Monica California.
