Huntington Botanical Garden

Henry E. Huntington, a railroad tycoon, purchased the 500 acre San Marino property in 1913 and began the creation of The Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Garden.  The Huntington’s botanical gardens is divided into more than a dozen themes, covers 120 acres and showcases plants from around the world.
