Using our Eastern High Sierra Fall Color Guide we headed out to see what California had to offer by way of fall colors. We started out early Saturday morning, made a stop in Bishop, before heading to June Lake. We stayed overnight in Mammoth Lake before our return trip through Convict Lake, McGee Creek, and Rock Creek. The colors were beautiful, but a little cold and deserted as we came through toward the end of the season.
